Whoop!

Well, it is official...Nick and I have some news to share with the world. (Don't worry, we aren't having another baby! Can you even imagine?) Ever since we got married the plan was for Nicholas to go back to school to get an MBA someday. We had thought about starting a program in the fall of 2011 for a while and decided to still go for it even though we now had Leo to add in to the equation...one thing is for sure, it will never get easier to go back to school! Nick applied to a handful of programs and got accepted to them all, however when it came down to it we were stuck deciding between two excellent programs- BYU and Texas A&M.

Who wouldn't want to go back to their alma mater? A place that we know we like and is comfortable to us, not to mention a great MBA program...BYU had a lot going in the "pro" column. Texas A&M has a great program too and they offered Nick a scholarship, but it never would have been our initial first choice...but it just kept lingering around. For whatever reason we just couldn't count it out and whether we wanted to accept it or not, it just felt like the right decision. So there you go...

WE ARE GOING TO BE AGGIES!

Now we are very excited about the decision :) College Station isn't the most glamorous place in the world and I have already shed tears about our housing options there, but we are really excited for Nick to start this program. Plus it is only an hour away from Grammie & Grandpa in Houston and a few hours away from the Cosbys, which includes Leo's "babysitter"...Belle!

We will be moving sometime in July so Nicholas can start orientation on August 1st. It is a condensed, therefore very rigorous and intense, MBA program; it is only 16 months! I am grateful that Nick wants to go back to school and that he is willing to do so for our family. Plus I am excited for Leo to be able to embrace his Texas roots!

Gig 'em Aggies!

Congratulations to Nick! That will be great for your family in the future. It' will be a sacrifice now, but it will pay off :)

Also, my mom got pregnant with me only 6 weeks after having my brother. I can't even imagine.

Howdy! All of Nick's options were great but we of course will love having you in a driving distance! Isabelle is definately planning on coming up to babysit Leo often! And we obviously have some TAMU Aggie Pride as well, so Gig 'em!

We are excited for you! Though I have to say that the phrase "gig 'em" is all new to me. I understand the sentiment, but what exactly is the definition of "gig?"

I like this picture of you, Nick. :)

Yay! Major congrats to you guys! And what an honor that Nick was accepted everywhere he applied!

Anyway, I'm sure it's so nice to finally know where you're going now. And best of luck with the housing! That part is not so fun. :)

Love you guys!

P.S. Just for the record, I didn't comment on this earlier because I am terrible at checking blogs and I didn't see it until now. But not because I thought that you gaining weight during pregnancy was more exciting. :)
